Co-founder and Partner, Karen Benjamin leverages her leadership, sales and organizational development expertise to enable technology and services companies to align their strategy, organizational structure and optimal staff to grow and improve their businesses.
Prior to starting Worldleaders, Karen held executive level positions leading sales, marketing, operations and recruiting for one of the top technology outsourcing firms. Her accomplishments include achieving Branch of the Year and consecutive annual President’s Club wins for sales and recruiting performance. Karen has led winning sales pursuits over $30M. Her results-driven executive leadership and recruiting experience align to the same challenge her clients face: building an exceptional organization.
Karen enjoys serving on boards and committees, and is currently President-Elect of Digital Rochester and a member of the Women’s President’s Organization. She has also been involved in (spell out) SHRM, Entrepreneur’s Organization, Women’s Executive Network, the Association for Women in Computing (past president), Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, St. John’s Home, Compeer, and Junior Achievement. She was recognized by the Rochester Women’s Network as an up-and-coming executive during 2003. She was also named IT Woman of the Year by the Association for Women in Computing in 2004 and an RIT Distinguished Alumna in 2008.
Karen holds a B.S. in Professional and Technical Communications from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a M.S. in Management from Roberts Wesleyan College.
